Headteacher's statement

"Together, we are passionate about our children’s education. As a community, we are firmly committed to do our very best to care, nurture and celebrate our pupils and colleagues’ achievements within a happy and safe environment.

We are looking forward to developing a close partnership with you and your child, to reach his/her potential. We know we are working with two of the most precious things on Earth, your child and time. We are dedicated to ensuring that both are cherished and used wisely - a child has one childhood and we will make every minute count.

The school was last inspected by Ofsted in June 2017 when we were judged to be ‘good’ in all the key areas of inspection, and in our overall effectiveness of provision.

The inspection report said our curriculum promotes pupils’ achievement and spiritual, moral, social and cultural development extremely well. Also, ‘Inspectors commented that our school has a family friendly feel and provides exciting opportunities that make pupils keen to learn and challenge them well’.

The full Ofsted Report is available here.

I am extremely proud to lead a team that is committed to achieving high standards, and one who is striving for outstanding and providing the very best opportunities for the children in our care. All our staff, supported by governors, work hard to deliver a rich and challenging curriculum; to prepare our children for future education; and to help them acquire the skills and enthusiasm needed to pursue learning for the rest of their lives.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school, and to a happy and successful partnership with all our children and families."
